US State Maps

The US State maps provide a much more localized picture of the COVID trends on a county-by-county basis across the USA. Only the predicted cases are displayed - the low population and large day-to-day variation in case rate in many counties makes accurate projection of deaths a challenge. Many states do not report case counts on a daily basis so some assumptions are made of the case behavior in the days in between the reporting periods.

The maps will be updated at least once a week to reflect current case trends. Watch out for the numbers in the days and weeks ahead as schools reopen.
